
Gritt Langer studied English Linguistics, Intercultural Communication and Education at Chemnitz University, Germany and Brock University, Canada. Before joining SCHLINGEL International Film Festival for Children and Young Audiences (Chemnitz) in 2012 she worked as a freelance English trainer and was involved in various international projects of the University. She is responsible for the festival’s partnerships with local schools and coordinates film literacy projects during the festival and throughout the year. In close cooperation with Bettina Buchler she organises and supervises the Chemnitz group of the FBW Jugend Filmjury. Gritt is further involved in SCHLINGEL’s international activities and represents the festival at matinee events abroad.
